Chinese TechFaith has signed new deals with three international telecoms for CDMA 1x products. The three telecoms are Thailand's Hutchison Cat Wireless Multimedia, Taiwan's Asia Pacific Telecom Group, and Poland's Sferia. The total value of the contracts is said to be US$3.2 million in the first phase of the deal, which encompasses the first quarter of 2007. TechFaith will design the mobile phones, while production of the handsets will be done by another company.
